We begin our journal…

March 21st, 2006

Esoteric: designed for & understood by the specially initiated alone; belonging to a circle initiated in such teachings.

Greetings SpiritFriend:

Welcome to our Esoteric Journal. If you are familiar with the written expression of my spiritual work, you are aware that I advocate Esoteric Journaling. If you are not yet initiated, I invite you into the circle, provided you enter with pure intention and a thirst for Truth. We do not discriminate here - all persons of all ages, creed or color are invited to participate in circle - because as part of Original Source - we are All One.

Before proceeding: Be aware that I find no desire or necessity to travel the dark side. Those who are not seekers of the Light will be better served by another teacher.

Let’s Establish Purpose & Parameters:

If I were a writer of the cookbooks, for example, would I not taste-test recipes before putting them in a book? Yes! Therefore, be assured that I test all of my teachings before committing them to the page. So that in “The Book” and “Begin to Remember”, when Esoteric journals were part of “the work”, I assigned myself the same topics.

Now, I am curious to know what happens when the books are finished? From where does your inspiration come? An answer is simple.

What if we continue the imaginary circle we created in “The Book”? I propose to assign topics in one post, which I will work along with you, and in the following post, I’ll share what I have written in my own Esoteric Journal.

Does this spark your interest?

Let’s Begin:

For those who are not “veterans” of Esoteric journalling, this form of writing differs from personal journals. I suggest you contemplate about the current topic and then have a little tete-a-tete with Spirit. When you are ready, write out your insights and understandings in your Esoteric Journal before proceeding to my post on the subject.

Tip: Please do not attempt to analyze or compare my writings with yours. There is no right or wrong “answer”. We all have unique insights, and I am open to receive your general questions, comments and suggestions. We learn, we teach and we learn from those we teach. I expect to learn from you and, in turn, I hope you will find our circle rewarding. Please know you are safe here.

In attempt to keep our enviornment user-friendly, here are certain parameters: I am not licensed to practice medicine, so that I cannot answer medical related questions; I am not inclined to dabble in specific matters of the heart and I am not available for a romantic connection.

As a certified Master of Life Guidance Counselor, I am committed to helping all who genuinely seek Spiritual guidance find their path with heart.

I trust you will receive many Truths as a result of our Esoteric Journalling. Our first assignment is: Giving & Receiving.

And so it is,

Bonnie

Auspicious Ch’i

May 16th, 2008

Greetings SpiritFriend:

Ch’i is vital energy. We want the energy in our homes to flow, not stagnate.

Pause a few moments and inventory your environment. What makes your heart sing?

In ch’i language, these things are auspicious.

Alternately, what transmits negative memories, or simply does not contribute to your well-being?

Like toxic relationships, these things can sap your positive energy, obstruct the flow of ch’i.

Consider giving or throwing them away.

In this manner, you empower yourself and strengthen your ch’i.

Know that you are the master architect of your surroundings!

and so it is,
Bonnie

Cherished Things

April 27th, 2008

Greetings SpiritFriend:

Do you surround yourself with things that give you great pleasure?

What among them brings a smile or a tear when you examine it?

Why?

What precious object do you possess that feels like a living entity?

A dear book was gifted to me by The Mentor. Every time I pick it up, it exudes a special energy. One like no other. More than words, this little book speaks to my soul and says, “You are cherished.”

THE ASSIGNMENT

Inventory your home and select 2 or 3 of your cherished things. Hold each of them and journal about their energy.

Why are they precious to you?

Perhaps, because they are!

and so it is,
Bonnie

An Esoteric Check-up

April 19th, 2008

Greetings SpiritFriend:

When you read “The Book”, I advised you to read one chapter each month. Did you?

In “The Book”, Avatar and I gave you a great gift. What was it?

In “Beyond Blue”, we learned about One Law. What is it?

What are we here on earth to do?

What happens when you finally get IT?

What is giving without expectation?

Is the death of our physical body really “The End”? Why or why not?

As esoteric students, which path do we walk?

I wish you light…

and so it is,
Bonnie

Sharing Something Different

April 6th, 2008

Greetings SpiritFriend:

From time-to-time, we’ve told our Esoteric Journal what we fear. We’ve meditated for answers. Maybe the answers came; maybe they didn’t.

Like you, I am an humble student of esoterica. Like you, I own my share of fearful things.

Today I have conquered one of my fears!

I’ve submitted my first fiction effort. Now I must hurry up and wait.

Whether I win or lose, I stand proud. I feel good in my skin!

I encourage you to dig deep into your consciousness and root-out something you are afraid of.

I applaud your courage.

and so it is,
Bonnie

Too Old

March 19th, 2008

Greetings SpiritFriend:

Imagine you are too old and you are!

What you believe will manifest in your life.

I wrote the first word of my first book at age 50!

Too old to do something exists only in the mind. Others see us as we see ourselves.

NOW - go out and do something you fear you are too old to do.

Take that foreign language class. Paint that picture only you can paint. Enroll in ballroom dancing. Go on that cruise. Write that first word.

I did!

and so it is,
Bonnie

Meaningful Things

March 19th, 2008

Greetings SpiritFriend:

Let’s take a gentleness break. We haven’t done that in a while.

NO JOURNAL WRITING TODAY!

Instead, let’s ponder about meaningful things. Things that mean much and cost little to nothing. Things that make us feel warm & fuzzy.

Let’s allow someone to turn left in front of us, when it is safe to do so.

Let’s give someone a sincere compliment.

Let’s clip a story or recipe and send to someone who’d be interested in it.

Let’s call someone and say “I love you.”

Let’s write a thank-you note to someone.

Let’s buy ourselves a small bouquet for no reason.

Let’s tuck a note in someone’s lunch or suitcase.

Let’s pass along a beloved book friend to someone who would enjoy it.

TOMORROW:

You may write about Meaningful Things in your Esoteric Journal.

Let’s enjoy our gentleness break!

and so it is,
Bonnie

Projecting into a Painting

March 7th, 2008

Greetings SpiritFriend:

Where I am, we are expecting 2-4 inches of snow tonight. What a great time to tuck-in and project into a painting.

Esoteric students are avid armchair travellers!

THE ASSIGNMENT

Find a picture that calls out to you, either on your wall or in a book.

Stare at it until your focus blurs and begin to creatively imagine that you have projected yourself into the painting.

Walk down the little path…cross over the bridge…trail your hands into the sparkling brook…smell the dahlias…become.

AFTERWARDS

Ponder about the experience in your esoteric journal. Were you happy to adventure deep below the frencticism of everyday life? Do you feel a sense of tranquility now?

Quiet moments such as these are like mini-vacations.

and so it is,
Bonnie
